Chapter 3 Giants in America, The proof.

     Any good researcher will tell you that one cannot make an absolute assumption about a theory without absolute proof. Without hard evidence a theory is nothing more than speculation and no one takes a speculated theory seriously. When a prosecutor wants to argue a case in front of a judge or jury they need evidence, whether it be a murder weapon, eyewitness accounts, bank statements, phone records, a body, video or pictures, police testimony, etc. It is very rare for a lawyer to win a conviction on circumstantial evidence, thankfully research isn’t like law. Here when studying cases like this where hands on real evidence may be hard or impossible to come by a researcher will use circumstantial evidence because it is all they have. Sometimes having a good argument centered around minimal evidence or hear say alone can win some jurors over but without concrete, absolute proof there will always be skeptics. When I research anomalous or mysterious cases I go in understanding that I could never convince a 12-person jury I am right but even if I can convince three or four of them than I am on the right track. When it comes to finding the penultimate proof that a race or races of Giants lived throughout the USA in ancient times I have no concrete evidence but I have enough circumstantial proof to feel confident enough to bring my case to trial. I like many other researchers also use a practice called Occam’s Razor (straight from Wiki: is a problem-solving principle attributed to William of Ockham c. 1287–1347, who was an English Franciscan friar, scholastic philosopher, and theologian. His principle can be interpreted as stating Among competing hypotheses, the one with the fewest assumptions should be selected.) to help me try to put a theory into perspective. Simply put, Occam’s Razor means the simplisest answer is most likely the right answer, in this case all the evidence that points to giants once being alive is overwhelmingly enough to push my theory forward. If you want to believe that hundreds if not thousands of people are making up these stories and faking all this evidence it would take more time and energy to dispute that alone than the actual theory itself, the simpler the answer the more chance it has to be right. In the case of Giant remains found in the US I have found enough eyewitness and written proof to say with almost 100% assurance that Giants did in fact once populate the earth. Hundreds of examples of eyewitness testimony from respected scholars, researchers, religious figures and journalists collaborate these finds throughout the mid 1800’s up until the 1950’s when all findings just stopped. I don’t believe that hundreds of different people from all over the country would have been making up the same stories with the same features and all, especially in a time when news took weeks sometimes months to reach others. Sure I am certain a few were hoaxes perpetrated by greedy people looking for attention or money but the majority of these findings were legitimate and have legitimate evidence to support them, in most cases it is the eyewitness testimony or the actual article written in the paper and lets not forget that during the 1800’s when most of these findings were happening people were a lot more truthful and God fearing back then, lying, especially on a scale like this was not done by average people. All but a very few skeletal remains are still floating around but the majority of them were either “lost”, destroyed, reburied in preserved and unmarked plots or hidden away somewhere in the vast warehouses of the Smithsonian.   I am almost certain that at some point in the 1940’s the US government stepped in and ordered the Smithsonian to start suppressing and getting rid of all evidence that doesn’t conform to the teachings of the day. I do have some plans in the works to seek out a burial mound or two and search for Giants myself. Wisconsin alone is teeming with ancient mounds, don’t worry I’ll do it with reverence and respect, just find some evidence, take some pictures and leave as quietly as I came. That is another story for another day. I will now cite a few well known, well documented findings.

     On 10 August 1891, the New York Times reported that scientists from the Smithsonian Institution had discovered several large "pyramidal monuments" on Lake Mills, near Madison, Wisconsin. "Madison was in ancient days the center of a teeming population numbering not less than 200,000," the Times said. The excavators found an elaborate system of defensive works which they named Fort Aztalan.
"The celebrated mounds of Ohio and Indiana can bear no comparison, either in size, design or the skill displayed in their construction with these gigantic and mysterious monuments of earth -- erected we know not by whom, and for what purpose we can only conjecture," said the Times.
On 20 December 1897, the Times followed up with a report on three large burial mounds that had been discovered in Maple Creek, Wisconsin. One had recently been opened.
"In it was found the skeleton of a man of gigantic size. The bones measured from head to foot over nine feet and were in a fair state of preservation. The skull was as large as a half bushel measure. Some finely tempered rods of copper and other relics were lying near the bones."
Giant skulls and skeletons of a race of "Goliaths" have been found on a very regular basis throughout the Midwestern states for more than 100 years. Giants have been found in Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, Ohio, Kentucky and New York, and their burial sites are similar to the well-known mounds of the Mound Builder people.

That was straight from the New York Times, which would have been the CNN of the era and this was before fake news or corporate owned and manipulated media, well it was happening but at a much smaller level back then. All of the Giant finds I am going to post have legitimate sources such as the Times or other newspapers. Many archeologists, anthropologists and scholars in general were present when these skeletons were excavated or saw them soon after. You will also see a pattern with which these giants were buried and what they were buried with. I should also note they all had double rows of teeth, six fingers and six toes. Keep in mind I am only sharing a few examples, mostly in the Midwest but there are hundreds, possibly thousands of these same findings all over the world.

Newark, Ohio 1899: 8’0” woman was unearthed. She wore copper and pearl jewelry. Numerous other artifacts were discovered including the Newark “Holy Stone” (see google or wiki). Ohio Gazette 1899

Chillicothe Ohio 1889: dozens of skeletons were found with copper masks, while buried even further below them was a massive Skeleton encased in copper armor. Ohio Gazette 1899

Bainbridge Ohio late 1800’s: 2 giants wearing copper helmets, one with a copper nose were found among 500,000 freshwater pearls. The Ohio State University website.

Ohio 1891: While excavating a particularly large mound a massive man clad in copper armor was discovered. Over nine feet tall with double teeth, six digits and copper relics everywhere around him including a pair of deer antlers encased in copper and placed at his head. His mouth was filled with large, decaying pearls. This was reported in Nature Magazine, edition 45, issue 157, Dec 1891.

Indiana, near Brewersville 1879: a 9’8” skeleton was found in the center of a mound. It had a mica necklace on and there were copper rods next to it. The finding was shown to an archeologist and his class. The family had the bones kept in a basket up until 1933 when a flood washed them away. This was reported by the Indianapolis News 10 November 1975.

Clearwater, Mn 1888: The skeletal remains of 7 large men were discovered in a mound near the lake. They all had double rows of teeth, were buried sitting facing the lake. Their foreheads were unusually low and sloping. St.Paul/Minneapolis Pioneer Press July 1888.

Lake Lawn Farm, Southwest Wisconsin 1912: 18 skeletons were unearthed. All ranged from 7’-10’ tall, they all had double rows of teeth and six digits on each hand and toe. A lot of Copper artifacts were found and all wore mica necklaces. They were found facing the nearby lake. 4 May 1912 New York Times.

Potsi, Wisconsin 13 Jan 1870:  2 skeletons were unearthed, one 7’6”, the other 8’0” both had double rows of teeth and were buried with copper artifacts. WI Decataur Republican.

Maple Creek, Wi 20 Dec 1897: A 9’0” skeleton was unearthed from center of a mound, he was buried with copper rods and a mica necklace. New York Times. And my final example:

West Bend, Wi 1895: An 8”0” skeleton was unearthed, he was also buried with copper rods. New York Times 1895.

So there are a few examples, like I said there are many, many, many others, I just chose ones in my homestate (WI) or those located in the Midwest. The Smithsonian began to actively suppress and hide or destroy these findings in the 50’s going so far as to have Congress enact special laws to “protect” ancient burial sites and their contents.

Specifically, the Smithsonian Institution has been accused of making a deliberate effort to hide the "telling of the bones" and to keep the giant skeletons locked away.

In the words of Vine Deloria, a Native American author and professor of law:

"Modern day archaeology and anthropology have nearly sealed the door on our imaginations, broadly interpreting the North American past as devoid of anything unusual in the way of great cultures characterized by a people of unusual demeanor. The great interloper of ancient burial grounds, the nineteenth century Smithsonian Institution, created a one-way portal, through which uncounted bones have been spirited. This door and the contents of its vault are virtually sealed off to anyone, but government officials. Among these bones may lay answers not even sought by these officials concerning the deep past."

So there you have it, almost absolute concrete proof that another species of humans, giants, more than likely roamed the earth for thousands of years beside modern humans. Governments and institutions are actively hiding or suppressing this evidence because it will completely re-write history. In the next and final chapter of this blog post I will link all the burials together and try to prove that it was this race of giants that mined the Upper Peninsula of Michigan for its pure copper as far back as 3500 BCE.
